Xigia Pelagaki is a nice, stony with lovely views. However, I feel that it is quite overrated for what it is. We came here at 10 am and it was busy already. The parking was free but it was very hard to find a space and getting there was not for the faint-hearted. There was a very steep and narrow road leading to the beach. Getting out was even worse as it got very busy and driving up the hill was a challenge as only one car could pass through the cars and quads that were parked on both sides of the road. When we managed to get out of the parking area, we noticed parked cars on the main road and I wish we had done that to save ourselves a lot of stress. We spent a few hours here and that was more than enough. Only the views leading to the are beautiful. There is little space for towels on the rocks, and like 10 sunbeds. Didn't like the water too muddy. There was a kiosk which offered food and drinks it is a very nice beach, one part is with sunbeds and another small part you have to bring your own towel, there is also a terrace up a few steps. food and drinks are also served downstairs. they have a basket that goes downstairs with what you ordered, very nice Loved this place especially the views and the restaurant. When you are on the you can order from the restaurant and the food will be brought down in a zip line like basket it's very cool. Be warned the stairs to get to the are steep and definitely a workout going back up. The water was very clear this is a rocky so wear water shoes. Also around this time of year there are tons of bees. Parking is very easy if you have a moped or ATV just make sure it has enough ccs to get back up the hill. You need more than 170cc. Like other top spots, this is truly picturesque. The sea is exceptional, and it comes with a strong recommendation as it was not crowded. At 11am, no sunbeds or umbrellas were available for rent, but we were able to buy an umbrella for €10. Although there are quite a lot of stairs to reach the beach, the place is well organized, with a clever zip line system that delivers drinks and food from the small restaurant above. People come and go regularly, so space opens up throughout the day. Overall, it is a great hidden gem worth visiting Xigia is a beautiful and unique spot on Zakynthos, known for its turquoise waters and natural sulfur springs. It’s okay seeing for the scenery and the experience. However, the is very small and gets crowded quickly — when I visited, there were hardly any free spots left. There are 2–3 parking areas nearby, which is convenient if you come early. Overall, it's a place worth visiting once, but once is probably enough. The entrance is very steep and a lot of stars so not suitable fore older people perhaps. There isn’t also a nice entrance in water since there are a lot of rocks but otherwise fine. There are also sunbeds on the and a bar. Iced cappuccino in the bar on top of the was 3€. Great water, small accessible by stairs which can discourage. Worth the effort for a nice swim.
