This was the standout restaurant for us in Alykanas. When we discovered it we ate our evening meals here until we left. A beautiful view from the rooftop restaurant either overlooking the beach or looking at the beautiful Agios Nikolaos church on the distant hilltop, very peaceful, great food and great friendly service. We honestly, absolutely, love this place. We stayed at the all inclusive down the beach but never used it we just came here all the time we even joked that this was as our all inclusive. Breakfast, lunch and evening meals are amazing but that's not all... the staff are the best, so welcoming, attentive and they actually care, which is really nice. Honourable shout outs to Mayas favourites Lucy, Jess and Pascalie (not spelt correctly). It would be wrong of me not to mention that the tzatziki and hummas are honestly the best we've had, super fresh, homemade very delicious. The shows are just top notch... we did 3 lots this year. Elton John - really good, very entertaining. ABBA - really good, gets you in the mood for a good dance. Greek night - unreal, did this last time we visited as well and it just doesn't get worse it only gets better, we absolutely love it, we've done loads of the years but this is the best and the food you have before hand, all fresh and beautiful. Cocktails are quality. Again we just absolutely love this place, everything about it is just amazing and we see all the guys as our extended family. We had lunch, a sweet chilli haloumi wrap and a barbecue chicken wrap, both with chips and salad worth every cent,excellent service and very welcoming The view from upstairs was 360 degrees The Mill Bar is located on the beach and provides free sun loungers around the pool (just buy a drink/food). Its a great location for those that want a bit of a beach day but then want to shower off and dip in the pool as well. Drinks are a good price. The owners and staff are all incredibly helpful and friendly. Some afternoons have live singers/pool party vibe and most evenings have entertainment. We did the Greek Night which was superb. Just make sure to prebook as it is very popular. The Mill Bar is the perfect spot to spend a relaxing day on the island! Over our two-week stay, we found ourselves coming back again and again — it’s just that good. We loved starting our mornings with breakfast upstairs, enjoying the beautiful beach views. Highly recommend The Bigger Breakfast and the sausage butties — both were absolutely delicious! One day we brought our towels and spent the whole day by their pool. It was blissfully peaceful, with chilled-out music, refreshing drinks throughout the day, and then lunch downstairs at the restaurant. The gyros are incredible — whether you go for the plate or the pitta, you can’t go wrong. Julie, Lucy, Nicos, Spiros and the whole team made us feel so welcome. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and the service was always spot-on. Great food, a warm and friendly atmosphere, and genuinely lovely people — we’re already looking forward to coming back on our next visit! Greek night (Fridays) fabulous night. The setting of the sunset is spectacular, all accompanied by brilliant tasting food and very friendly smiley staff. The food menu is short, which is not massive like a lot of the restaurants around here, so you're not too badly torn on what to have!
