The water is good for a swim, but there is very little space on the beach. Parking you have to pay and you can't park on the road. Probably a good place to come early in the morning when quiet, but otherwise go elsewhere. Too crowdy. I would strongly recommend swimming shoes. Pay the chap in the car park for either 2 hrs or all day, very very steep hill down to the beach, which even in the off season is very busy. We only stayed for 20 minutes as had no interest in trying to find a spot to set up.
