Thank you Soula x It was our first dinner out, as we’re staying all-inclusive, but we had to meet my husband’s friend and ex-colleague, who booked a table here. She said it’s one of the best restaurants on the island — and she was absolutely right! We enjoyed everything from the appetizers to the mains, and were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary dessert from the owner. The interior is beautiful, and the service was excellent — friendly, chatty, always smiling, helpful, and they spoke English. Definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone visiting Zakynthos! We came here about 8 or 9 times whilst staying in Alykes. We loved it!! Always a warm welcome and reasonably priced given its seafront location. The pork or chicken gyros is only 4.50€! A pint of Mythos is 4.50€. 500ml of wine is only about 6€! The lunchtime menu is value. Can recommend almost everything on it. The evening menu is also great. Seafood platters are good. The souvlaki is excellent. The salads are wonderful! 👍 food and drinks, lovely relaxed atmosphere, we sat at the front near the beach and this was a nice place to sit What more could you want?! food and drinks menu available to table or sun bed. The staff are were a so friendly on our visits. Very reasonable prices for the quality received! I look forward to visiting again on our next trip! Eaten in the restaurant for lunch- gyros and €4.50. Good service on the beach- €15 for 2 x sunbeds but you may get a discount if you turn up late in the day. Mythos on tap but other options in bottles (Mamos recommended). Swordfish was huge and very tasty. Also went here for a beach day, the sun beds were comfy, friendly waiter service to your bed, and lunch was delicious. Staff were nice I saw so many amazing reviews so I had to check it out. Very friendly attentive service from the greeter. The view of the beach / water is definitely better in nearby beach bars. I ordered the tomato sauce shrimp, as was recommended by another reviewer… the sauce was great, however, the shrimp was so overcooked a fork could not cut it, and a knife was needed. The rosee wine was a good price, but not great. I also had a generously portioned simple salad that was very fresh. Overall, a bit of a disappointment considering the high rating.
