The is exceptionally pleasant, friendly and very knowledgeable. Always has a pleasant word and manner. Some amazing surplus and collectibles on two floors. Very highly recommended for a curious visit. I have always come away with a thing or two, but by no way will you be coerced into a purchase. It isn't that sort of business. Another gem on the Coldstream High Street. Wow, a bucket list item ticked off and so pleased I did. A wonderful full of militaria, so unique as some items outside of the two world wars. The little was a pleasant surprise, with a few hands on items to touch and or use. The owners (Trevor and Helen) were very knowledgeable and friendly and we can't wait to again. Thanks guys. This isn't just a shop, it's an experience. The private collection/museum within the is amazing and very interesting. I believe a lot of effort and thought has gone into sharing this collection with the public. The store is one of the friendliest and most genuine people I've met in a long time, as well as having military knowledge and his own personal stories to share, which made the time spent there all the better. Not just a shop...there is a mini Musuem downstairs too, full of things to look at and learn, very interesting interactive diorama of the SOEs in France. The store’s was incredibly friendly, and evidently passionate about their establishment and its rich history. He engaged the kids in a fun military reconnaissance task within the downstairs, which kept them entertained and offered an excuse to peruse. The itself was a delightful surprise and a hidden gem. While I can’t personally vouch for the store’s merchandise, the exceptional experience at the and the owner’s warm hospitality warrant this five-star rating.
