Cask Marque pub. Dog pub! We found this pub as we drove through the town and we are so pleased we did. Staff were and approachable. Food was delicious and cooked to perfection! Highly recommend. Had a really enjoyable late lunch here. Staff were really lovely and welcoming nothing too much of a problem. The meals we had, steak pie and mushroom pasta in a creamy peppercorn sauce were to die for as were the deserts we had chocolate fudge cake and raspberry roulade. We'll worth stopping off even if it's just for a coffee Lovely little pub. Fantastic food. Great service. Gluten free options for most menu items. Dog (they have a jar of treats on the bar!). Friendly, helpful staff. Arriving as cold wet campers we were shown to the fire immediately, and there was no pressure to 'eat up and get out'.
