A pleasant surprise, it’s to stumble across a gem like this. The food and service were excellent, a warm welcome and cracking food to back it up. We’re both veggie so went for the vegan pie but not vegan as we had a Yorkshire pudding each and a side of cauliflower cheese 🤤 Highly recommend and we will definitely be back if we are in the area again. Fantastic Sunday lunch and good Monday evening meal. Good service... Reasonable prices. Would go again. NB. You must book for Sunday lunch ( it's worth it!!). This place is a little gem. It’s ideally located for the project that Im currently working on. Keith welcomed me and the check in process felt seamless. The banter at the bar was welcome after a long drive from Sussex. The food was top notch and plentiful. I will be coming back again. As soon as we went in friendly and welcoming, we hadn’t booked a table but we got one, really gorgeous place, we ordered a half portion beef roast dinner as I can’t eat a lot and my husband ordered the trio roast dinner, absolutely amazing!! Beef and pork melted in the mouth! Definitely will recommend to friends and family best roast dinner I’ve had out ever. Thank you so much as am right off my food at the moment and that was delicious ❤️ Went whilst we were on a break in the area for Sunday lunch and glad we did. The food was amazing. Didn't need a knife for the beef as just fell apart. Just lovely. We had Eton mess for dessert and that was two. Just simplish food done very well. The ladies were very welcoming and helpful. Would recommend ( but would advise booking in advance) We ate at the Bluebell Inn after looking at recommended restaurants in our holiday accommodation. We weren't disappointed. The welcome was great, staff very friendly and of course the canine family member was made very welcome. Food excellent, we had Cullen Skink soup and Haggis stuffed Chicken breast with peppercorn sauce. So delicious and fresh. This is a place to call in on your way through when travelling and also if you are staying in the area, its woth a visit. Came here for dinner Sunday evening, the food was amazing, I had the haggis pakora to start and the balmoral chicken main, absolutely exceptional dishes, shoutout to the kitchen team! The sunday roast and steak pie were also lovely dishes, as well as desserts. My 4th/5th visit same time every year, and will be back next year! Lovely staff and food, a rareity where I'm from!
