At our visit there was a sculpture exhibition on which added to the experience. There are seating areas around the and inside a cafe which is a environment for a coffee and cake. I really enjoyed my visit, the gardens are work in progress for new owners. There is a small section where you can buy and a pleasant tea room. I felt is was probably more attractive to adults but children may enjoy exploring the winding paths, big trees and little lawns. I will go again. There is also a very nice pub nearby and good parking too. An absolute hidden gem! Wonderful cottage gardens to walk around and spend some time appreciating the setting and browsing a selection of in the nursery. You'll be spoilt for choice as there is a tea rooms but also a pub opposite... perfect excuse to visit again I suppose! This was our first time visiting, even though we only live 10 minutes away. We went on a sunny day and caught the end of snowdrop season. The children were free and my ticket was £7 (cheap compared with lots of other gardens). The gardens themselves were to walk around, and even in early spring there was lots to see. The paths are rather uneven which suits the age of the property but might be a problem if you are a little unsteady. The cafe was and reasonably priced with lots of tables and some outside seating for nicer weather. Looking forward to coming back to see how the changes through the seasons. East Lambrook Manor Gardens is a charming and idyllic place, full of character. It’s exactly the kind of place where you meet the kindest people. In August 2024, during our tour through southern England, we made a stop at this beautiful garden. Even at this time of year it was still stunningly beautiful. I personally think it’s completely fair and appropriate that we paid for entry. It was absolutely worth it. We felt at home right away and even our little dog was given a warm welcome. The way the employee took the time to learn about him and his story really touched our hearts. It’s so wonderful to encounter such kind and caring individuals! Not huge, but all three paths and different areas take a good hour and a half to see properly. There are a huge variety of and trees, and a good selection of for sale. We visited in mid October and there were plenty of in flower, so we expect it will look spectacular in layer Spring. Definitely recommended.
