Stopped in here after walking to the Waterfall. and welcoming. We didn't have food but did look really nice. Nicely decorated. Dogs welcome. Plenty of seating inside. Would go again.. Came here for a late lunch after hiking the elidir trail and it was wonderful. A very warm welcome with a great menu. The atmosphere is very good. We had a main course each, majoring on the lamb shank which was excellent and the vegetables very well cooked also. Excellent service. Fully recommend I love this place. I've been a few times, and they're always super accommodating, the fireplace is always going, and the food is always excellent. To my surprise this last time I visited they're prices seemed cheaper than before and the food had improved again! How is that even possible. So much to be said for a roast that I didn't even stop to take a picture for. The beef was outstanding. Smash a roast. Then go and walk a few KM in waterfall country. Highly recommended. Amazing Sunday roast, the portion sizes were absolutely eye-opening! Even the boiled vegetables were delicious, which says a lot. Probably didn't enjoy when they cleaned the tables next to us that the cleaning spray ricocheted off the table and went right into our food. The food was okay. Mexican night. We went here after a long hike of waterfalls and this place was amongst the few places that were open and had food on a Sunday afternoon. were very welcoming and . Food was decent and good size portion. We ordered lamb shank and pie of the day and enjoyed both the dishes. Really lovely pub with friendly, cheerful and a cosy interior. The food was great, and there was always a space here as it's hidden from the main street. Recommend the koftas especially. Dog with a dog menu to boot, which impressed our pup! If you're in the area, do drop in. Popped in for a Guinness after a walk to the waterfalls and loved the atmosphere. Menu looked amazing so came back for my birthday meal. We both had the lamb shank and I'm gutted I didn't take a pic of the food as it was stunning. Couldn't resist the dessert menu, we normally skip dessert but as it was my birthday we spoilt ourselves. As with the main meal it was stunning. Staff are amazing and and as our visit was in January the fire was going so made it a lovely cosy atmosphere. They managed to fit us in short notice as we hadn't booked and were so glad they did. The were and welcoming. The service was quick and the food was absolutely delicious. My partner and I had Prawn cocktail for starters then the Sunday roast, I chose a bit of each meat, Lamb, Beef and Chicken with all the trimmings. My partner had the beef. The meat was really lean and tasty, accompanied by mixed veg and mash and a very tasty yorkshire pudding. At this point we would have declined a desert but happened to catch a glimpse of some going to another table, they all looked divine! We settled on Raspberry and White chocolate cheesecake and Nutella cheesecake - top marks! I will definitely be calling in again. 😋 On entry greeted by realy who made us feel comfortable and welcome. Absolutely beautiful food, starters prawn cocktail followed by home cooked melt in the mouth lamb with perfectly cooked veg and more than ample gravy boat. Man food was absolutely delicious and size of the portions were huge 😅. I thought I will not finish but after few hours of walking was exactly what I needed.
