There was not much of a when we went but that is likely due to the recent dry weather. Parking is in the main carpark but very limited, it's £5 in the overflow car park, personally I don't think it would be the £5 as you can be in and out in an hour. The from the car takes about 10 minutes, and while it's quite steep, it's definitely manageable with the right footwear – hiking boots are recommended. The effort is well it once you see the breathtaking waterfall. The facilities are great too. There's an ice cream and burger shop on-site with a cozy tented area where you can sit and enjoy your treats. Overall, a lovely place to and enjoy nature. Amazing place. to park, a 15 mins walk, not suitable for push chairs, wheel chairs or those that struggle to inclines. Not heavy going but mildly challenging. The themselves are and well seeing. Mixed group 8yrs to 52 yes, all enjoyed it, allow about 1 hour for your visit, more if you want to sit and soak up the beauty! There’s a small carpark with an info board and a cafe with some seats. As others have written the to the is short, but down a slope, which is pretty slippery underfoot when wet and the soil is clay. Once at the bottom, then you have to go up a small amount of wooden steps. When we came, we were the only ones here, but wouldn’t want to be going up and down these when its busy, especially as they were slippery. If you have dogs, you need to make a decision if they will be able to get up the steps and down them again. That said, when you get to the it’s it. They take cards and sell ice creams too. The back up is steep, there's no benches to break it up. It's about 10 minutes there and 20 minutes back up. We really deserved the ice-cream at the top! If you do visit, please take your litter home with you. There are no public bins, we carried several discarded bottles and cans back up and disposed of them at home. Please treat the site with respect. Fantastic Batcave waterfall, one of the best in Wales! absolutely breathtaking to stand behind it (I bought a cheap large plastic coat so didn't get wet). My husband and I first came here 14 years ago when we first started dating, then we came back and took our 10 and 2 year old. My two year old walked the whole thing, apart from the hill back up to the car park. The car was free,but there's no toilets. The whole down to the can take you as little as half an hour,but we chose to take longer down and then spent ages down at the falls... having some snacks and throwing rocks into the water.
