Located at the bottom of Borris village, the viaduct has been upgraded to be wheelchair friendly. An easy with a few information panels and picnic tables. Free parking. Facilities available in Borris. Beautiful place, very well done with lots of tables to seat and enjoy the view and have a great day out. An unexpected beautiful spot on the South Leinster Way to stop my bike and take in some views. The picnic benches made it all the more comfortable, and if I wasn’t wearing my riding gear it would be a pleasant place for a walk. I’ll be coming back in the car. Beautiful place for a family walk, stunning views. Picnic tables underneath the viaduct. Kids really enjoyed it. Fairly short walk, so easy for little legs!!! Carpark either end, although one is very small. Plenty more places to visit around Borris when you finish here. Would recommend to all. Picnic benches, you paddle in the stream, through woods so green and full of life rumpled leaves and under the stone arches scoring forever into the sky. A short walk, good parking kids loved it thus so did I. Nice place for a short with small kids, even with a buggy. Well presented history of the place and the railway on the boards. There are two new parkings there, on both sides of viaduct - one up on the hill, the other under the viaduct. Bloody lovely. And very well kept. A super experience well the best of all is a loop over the viaduct, then down a wood and back to recross the viaduct- well worth a visit and highly recommended.
