Basic but perfect for a few days of group motorcycling. Friendly staff, great bar with outside seating and a superb breakfast. We wish the new team every success with the hotel and hope they get to offer food as that would really make the place work even better. I had passed through Inistoge a few times throughout the years and always wanted to stay a bit longer. It's such a lovely, sleepy little village... gorgeous and quaint in every way. As far as I know, this is the only accommodation there, and I have to say, I loved it. My room was clean and beautiful and they were able to accommodate my request not to be in a room right above the bar. The bar is nice with great staff, cosy and homey. Malachy, who I think is the new owner, is absolutely lovely as well. Really nice people all around. The only complaint, as I see others have written, is that they don't currently have food, whereas on their website it says they do pizzas I think? But neither this place or the bar adjacent to it do food, so I was out of luck for dinner. Definitely prepare and eat dinner before arriving in Inistioge! Breakfast was very nice and the fresh baked croissants were AMAZING, but it did take a very long time and I think they're just getting off the ground with the food aspect of the accommodation. All in all, would highly recommend and will definitely be back myself. Thanks all! We gathered at The Woodstock Arms to mark my Dad’s anniversary—a place he cherished and often visited on quiet Sunday mornings for a coffee and a read of the paper. Being there again, surrounded by family and friends, reminded us exactly why he loved it so much. The setting is beautiful, but it’s the staff who truly make it special. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome during what was a very meaningful day for us. The sandwiches were spot on, and the relaxed, friendly atmosphere was appreciated by everyone. Thank you for helping us honour his memory in such a lovely way. The area is absolutely breathtaking! The staff, amazing! So kind and helpful, personable and even fun to interact with! The room was so cute and cozy and we slept beyond comfortably 💖 the hot breakfast was delicious and so filling ~ they go above and beyond in every way! Even loved the smell of the shampoo they offer and honestly, the guests and pub patrons were just as cool!
