The place looks run down and a lick of paint could breath new life into it. £5 for 2 bacon rolls is not attractive. I'd expect a hot drink included. Polite staff. I feel it wouldn't take much to take the place to the next level. Just a bit of will to do it. Lovely wood burner to keep the place warm! The food was brilliant, the staff are lovely. There's free WiFi as the signal in the area is patchy which was useful to plan the next part of our trip. After walking the dog outside the owner said I could have brought him in so dogs are also allowed (he would have hogged the fire) all in all a great place to breakfast. Proper old school Cafe at a racetrack. But the food is amazing, the ladies who run the place like clockwork deserve a medal putting up with all the bikers, racers, rally drivers and kart nutters that pass through. New toilet block is welcome addition.......pop in. We have had such breakfasts here !! Top breakfast—the meat is likely from the Farmer’s Pantry, the local butcher’s collective (as their logo is on the mugs), so is a cut above the norm. Excellent breakfast, served really quickly, good value for money. Breakfast was lovely but it felt like I was eating in someone's garage, it was fooking freezing! No radiators or heat source, there was a log burner but it wasn't lit. Couldn't wait to get back in the car! Just a quick stop off. Friendly and helpful staff. Food was great quality.
