We went for Sunday dinner. The food is really lovely here, a very nice restaurant with lovely staff. We enjoy our food and visits here. Thank you. Restaurant and bar were excellent. Sunday lunch popular and excellent. They even helped us keep our grandson Louis entertained. Lady waiter was so kind and helpful 🙂 Superb restaurant. We had a lovely Sunday lunch. Wide choice of meats, veg and excellent gravy. Sticky toffee pudding with custard too. Went here for food had pie of the day which was steak and ale it was AMAZING COOKED TO PERFECTION it couldn't have been any better also had baileys cheesecake which also was perfect amazing not faults whatsoever all food came quick and steak just fell apart in your mouth. I will be coming back here Beautiful views friendly and a great atmosphere all round! Well worth popping in for a great meal and pint. The only point I can make that I wasn't to thrilled about is the first carpark as it's on a steep hill I was worried about rolling backwards and damaging my car but if you are a great driver then you won't find this a problem unlike myself. Superb food with lovely views and nosey cows! There's attention to food presentation and taste. Served very well. Good quality, too. Nice selection of drinks. We all had a very pleasant evening. 4 of us cost £150 with drinks and a tip. Medium range of costs. We went for Sunday lunch, there were 10 of us, so not easy for the staff, how wrong was I, we were treated fantastically, we were served drinks straight away and our orders taken, the food was delicious, my wife makes a mean Sunday dinner, this is the closest I have had to hers. However £20 for a dinner to get served tasteless veg with 3 tiny roast potatoes and half a parsnip is very steep. Had food at 2 was starving by 3. Also the fire alarm went off 3 times while we were there for about 2 to 3 minutes a time and not one apology from anyone. It was deafining by the way. Won't be back Had fillet steak meal...never worth £35...1 mushroom couple of tiny tomatoes...very disappointed. Could have had better in a pup down the road.
