Wern Ddu Quarry in Wales is hands-down one of the best enduro venues I’ve had the pleasure of riding. I’ve been back multiple times over the past couple of years, and every visit has been just as impressive as the first—if not better. The site is clean, well-organized, and clearly run with real care and passion. The owners are incredibly and welcoming. On my very first visit, the owner took the time to chat with us for a good half hour and even arranged for a marshal to give us a tour of the different routes. The routes themselves are amazing, with a mix that cater to all skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced rider, there’s something here for you. Can’t recommend Wern Ddu Quarry enough. Keep up the work—I'll definitely be back again soon! Well what a place this was. If you are into ridiculous hill climbs and very technical rock sections then this is the place for you. The hosts are so and very helpful who just want to see everyone have a good time. Camping available at £10 a night and there are 2 toilets and 2 showers. There are endless little tracks to play on and there is an easy route for those with most of their screws tightened 😄 fun to watch the ones with a few loose giving the big hills a go. Very strict on noise so do make sure you either have stock pipe with dB killer or make a dB killer as they do check all exhausts and anything not stock will be picked for testing. They do have a selection of dB killers there. All in all weekend even if you're not mad for enduro I still had fun just mucking about on the easier stuff well worth the money and trip My husband had been to this Enduro trail a couple of times and I decided to join him this bank holiday weekend. When arriving it was quiet and you could choose to camp near the trail with electric or further back without . We camped in the pitches further back. The were spot on. Clean toilets and hot showers. When talking to the owner he is putting a lot of effort in to making sure the are suitable for both the riders and anyone who might be spectating with them for the day or weekend. My husband spent long periods on the trail, challenging himself on new bits and getting better at parts he had already done. This is his 3rd time in 6 weeks so a defo win with him! The owner was and full of local knowledge to be able to help us navigate the bus into a nearby town Ruthin. The bus goes every hour with the last one back to the quarry at 5:09 on a Saturday, enough time for a beer and a bite to eat. Ruthin is a lovely Welsh town with a Tesco, B&M , Wetherspoons and more. We ate at Wetherspoons as well as having a beer in the local wine vault. Overall a nice relaxing weekend for myself and a weekend of Enduro enjoyment for the husband. Definitely with a visit and we will be back. I drove 5 hours to get to Wern Ddu last Friday to camp over and ride on the Saturday. I honestly spent nearly every minute of that drive hoping that the previous reviews were accurate and I have to say that this place exceeded all my expectations...in fact it was better in every way! This place is an absolute legendary facility for trials and enduro practice. It's in a beautiful location with clean camping - toilets, hot showers, kitchen (though look out for updates on the bunkhouse they are building if you are not a camper - ready early next year I believe). The owners (I met the father and daughter) could not have been friendlier and I was a like a kid on xmas morning as I set off to explore vast 70 acre quarry that offers something for every level of ability. Anyone with a trials bike will know that good practice grounds are hard to come by but this place literally has everything you could want with not just all grades of trails but loads of little areas with pipes and rocks etc.. I emptied 3 tanks of fuel on my Beta Rev3 and only had to stop as my arms were gone :) Can't wait to go back! Cheers, Rich Amazing Venue. Did a two day event. Brilliant facilities, staff. Would highly recommend and will be going again soon. Just got back from a trip to Wern Ddu Quarry - I had a fantastic time at this unique venue. Lots to explore for riders of all levels from novice to pro. A very owner and marshalls work hard to make your visit the best experience. Highly recommended. What a place. Fantastic value and really well run by the very family team. If you like enduro or trials, this is a place you have to go to at least once! Good camping with excellent toilets & showers. We had a group of 5 and all loved it.
