Only word of criticism: automatic light in toilet block turns off whilst you are in the shower! Absolutely brilliant site. Tidy, well set out and lovely and peaceful. We managed to get a pitch at short notice and Billy made us feel very welcome. Facilities are spotless as is the whole site. Superb area for walking and biking, with Rhug farm shop just a stones throw away. Cant wait to return. IT was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff who made us feel welcome and ensured we had everything we needed. The campsite is perfectly nestled in a beautiful natural setting, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and conveniently located. We especially enjoyed the well-marked hiking trails nearby and the serene lake for swimming and kayaking. My wife and I stayed her for two nights in our 7m long camper. Met at the gate by Billy. Lovely guy who really goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. Doesn’t bother you but is always available if needed. He keeps the immaculate and the facilities extremely clean. Watching the young calves playing in the adjoining field was a joy. Behind the is a field with the most beautiful long horned cattle. You hear them mooing occasionally, but they are very considerate and don't moo at night, so a good night's sleep is guaranteed! There is also a field with gorgeous Highland cattle. The shower block is lovely and clean. I loved our stay there. Little gem of a caravan with fully serviced hard standing pitches. So peaceful with surrounding hills and country side views. Toilets and showers are spotlessly as is the site, well maintained. Located just behind Rhug Farm shop and cafe on the a5. Will definitely be visiting again. What a beautiful and the neighbours are gorgeous and so well behaved (see picture) lol. The is so well maintained and very clean. The shower blocks are lovely and and have great showers. Billy was so welcoming and friendly and made sure that he spoke to us before we left to make sure we were happy with the site. We would certainly recommend and stay there again. Stayed for 8 nights October 25, lovely with great views. Nice facilities block with excellent hot showers. The warden, Billy, was very helpful and informative and let us move pitch from under the big oak tree due to storm Amy arriving the next day.
