The game was entertaining entertaining 5 goals, although not the right result for the hone side. A good advert for the National League South. Well done Hungerford, will be back. Before the start of the game, a 1 minute silence for the tragic death of Diogo Jota, a fabulous footballer and a human being. This is the kind of Ground I enjoy visiting. From the kind of stands they have you can tell that they have had to adapt to life at a higher division. There is a brand new stand, and 2 older ones. The older ones are basic to say the least. Chairs screwed to wooden planks give this Ground a lot of character. A lot of work is being done to improve it. The volunteers are friendly and the admission pirice is very good. £12 adults, my 15 year old was free, £2 for a programme. Definitely recommend a visit. Have since been back on 6/8/19. Improvements have been made with a new covered seating stand at one end, and a small covered terrace situated just behind the home dugout. Came in handy as it absolutely chucked it down at the start of the match. Still a great ground, I enjoyed my visit again apart from the result this time. Slopy pitch. How is it alowed at the level they play. Nice bar though. Really nice club, proper non league feel, consistent, decent attendances and you can see the players leave it all on the pitch, even if they sometimes lack in quality compared to their opponents. The struggle of being part time in an increasingly full time league. Really friendly bar and steward staff too. And a nice new 250 seat stand behind the goal makes for a welcome visit. Very lovely and hospitable club from the volunteers up to the owners. Very welcoming atmosphere and truly encapsulates the spirit of non-league. Their attempts at trying to involve themselves in the local community are great to see. Excellent views of the pitch. Great stadium. Really good family venue. A good ground. Littel parking but some parking in the side streets. Clean and tidy.
