Our dinner at this pub was truly fantastic. The food was exceptional, beautifully prepared, seasonal and full of flavor, but what made the experience unforgettable was the service. Rhea, our waitress, was warm, professional, and genuinely kind. She anticipated every need with a smile and made us feel completely at home. We can’t wait to return for another wonderful evening! We had a lovely meal here this evening for our daughters birthday. The food was excellent and the staff were so fantastic in helping us celebrate with a cake, we couldn’t fault the service. Thanks you Excellent pub. Had a great meal last night and sad to see it not busy. Seems to be under new management so highly recommend you give it a try. Large restaurant area and plenty of outside seating for good weather, some of it under cover. Just had a half term lunch with 5 kids - two adults. The food was great, kids and adults alike. Our lovely waitress Rhea, managed all the order variations and was generally a delight, creating a fun and warm welcome for us all to enjoy. Well done the Pelican. Had a fantastic Sunday with the family. Large party 16 for a birthday celebration the service and food were superb. Beef was delicious, everything was delicious well cooked and seasoned. We had an area of the restaurant which we were able to stand chatting before our meal was served. Food came out pretty much all at the same time. Nicky and team did a great job. Slight hick up with one meal but was sorted very quickly and didn't effect us eating all together. Weather was glorious and we sat outside afterwards and had tea and cake. The staff were so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble to ensure we had a fabulous time. Definitely recommend and will return in the future. Special thanks to Rhea who managed to provide us with frothy coffees even when the coffee machine was out of action. We will definitely be returning. Dropped by in the off chance they had a table late on a Thursday and were welcomed as if we'd booked for a celebration. Very pleasant decor, lovely food and friendly staff - what more could you want on a dark, windy night (or any time for that matter!) We will be back.
