We came here to celebrate my Aunt's 80th birthday. We were a large group of about 60 people and were looked after really well by the team. We had all the tables under the canvas teepee and it was a really space for the event. The food was and considering the size of the party it was served really quickly to all tables. We really enjoyed the afternoon and all the were excellent. Lovely dog pub with a mix of different food, not just your normal pub classics but some additions such as a Greek pitta wrap. They are very dog and they even have their own dog food menu. Give it a try we are glad we did. This is a really nice pub. I was here for a family get together and we were in the tipi, a permanent fixture in the grounds. The beer garden was also used and was nicely set out. Being Sunday we had Sunday roast which was very good. Being so many l thought mine could have been a bit hotter but this could be due to us all chatting. Service was and efficient. Extremely atmosphere and the Garden is for kids of all ages. The IPA Beer was but the range of wines on offer a bit limited and while Most of the food we had - as a party of 6 - was considered to be it was let down slightly by the salads which ,though certainly fresh, we’re just a bit bland. The calamari and prawns were Top Draw. And the Steak Pie was too - so combined with the atmosphere and the more than helpful the overall experience was excellent. Our party of 6 adults and a child arrived on Saturday afternoon at 5pm for dinner. I had never visited before, but I was struck by a atmosphere, and saw an immaculately clean establishment with very enthusiastic staff. The garden was also fantastic with things for the children's entertainment. We had a mixture of dishes with a couple having starters while others just had main meals. I personally had the mushrooms in garlic and cheese starter, followed by an steak, cooked perfectly as I had requested, medium, with the trimmings. I had a wonderful beer and a large Merlot to wash it down with and my only regret was that I hadn't enough room for a dessert. It was my first visit, but I promise it will not be my last. Finally went there on my birthday for lunch and it was brilliant! The pulled pork burger and chips was amazing. were very friendly, and there was a good selection of drinks. Will definitely be going again Amazing food, and a stunning location!! Definitely recommend 🙏 spot for family meet up. Service was food was good dead food value. were all excellent. Food was ok my partner had fish and chips, the batter was quite soggy. I had the the bacon chicken burger it was quite good. The play area is brilliant and the place in general is really quite unique. First time at the craven arms and it was well worth stopping for lunch. Had the turkey, leek and ham pie which was lovely. A massive amount of turkey and lots of perfectly cooked veg. Delightful. very and the atmosphere was great. It was also nice to see that dogs were allowed. Have visited this pub twice , the first time for drinks and this week for food . The food was very good , all . Will return again . We came with a dog and didn’t realize until later that there is a dog menu . Came a night last week with a group of friends, since I was told a friend of mine has started working up there now in the kitchen, and my god what a beautiful find. Never heard of it before but it’s absolutely amazing. The views are gorgeous and the food lives up to that too, so tasty and delicious. Will definitely be back again for more!
