A lovely part of the world with dramatic cliffs, gentle grassy walks and at times a real solitude. Can be walked all year round for different lights and atmospheres and people have a lot of success using the as foreground for astrophotography. Can be walked from Llantwit Major along the coast path or you can park nearer to the itself. Great place for photography and walking along the stony beach when the tide allows. I visited with a group of friends and it was fairly quiet. Great views of the coast and a interesting landmark. Parking costs 3 pounds in the cafe (when it's open). Incredible location and well worth a visit on a dry day. The last manned in Wales until the late 90’s. Very remote but has a large car park and the Clifftop Cafe. Trails lead down to a secluded fossil ridden rocky beach area which is generally quiet and a pleasant walk. Picnic and seating area with incredible views. Narrow roads for the last few miles but well worth the drive. Parking is free when the cafe is closed. The rock formations are stunning, and the with the surrounding cottages and grazing fields transports you back in time. An odd little place. Rather deserted when we got there at about 3:30pm. You couldn’t get in to see anything. The feeling I got was one in between that of a military base and a heritage site. Great views though. Spectacular views, terrain can be a little challenging but well worth it. We have visited on a number of occasions. There is a car park £3 all day but on this visit we were told we couldn’t use the main car park as it is now a campsite! There were only day visitors there with camper vans as you will see in the photos and there were a few cars! Still it is a beautiful area. Beautiful and peaceful place. There’s a trail you can hike along the Bay. Listen to the waves on a windy day. A lovely coastal walk. Probably wouldn't visit again this year. Parking charges at £5 Beautiful place to visit. Coastal walk with lighthouse, sea views, lots of grass area to sit and enjoy the sea view. Cafe and toilet facilities. Cudnt ask for more. Absolutely luved it. ❤️ Such a beautfiul spot, not only for the but the availabilty of walks, the historical rockfaces, the camping availability (summer only I believe), as well as gorgeous spot for star gazing. Lovely quiet place to sit and enjoy th amazing vista Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
