Lots of near both sides of the beaches This was simply amazing, real calm water, not many people and the beaches just went on and on. If you go there at low you can even out to one of the buoys it has that long and shallow a shelf, fantastic for kids. The life guards were understandably a tad strick with some folks but it was perfectly understandable. Beautiful and peaceful beach. Quickly becoming one of my favorite beaches. There is plenty of parking, the cutest cafe, public and the sand is white and powdery. At high the water is still safe and shallow for the small ones. Stunning which is totally children and swimming friendly We came to this a number of times during our holiday as we stayed now far from the beach. The was very and relaxing. It is split into two parts by the pier. One side is a beautiful and the other side has a nice sandy area and rocks ideal for crabbing. Carne was lovely, my daughter is a wheelchair user and the buggy was amazing for her to use, it was so easy to get her onto the instead of trying to drag her wheelchair, next time we might even get her into the water This has a lot of potential, especially at low when a lovely, wide stretch of sand is revealed. The practical aspects are great: was easy to come by, and the availability of public nearby is a huge plus for families. However, visitors should be aware of a significant, unpleasant smell on the itself. It was quite noticeable during our visit and did detract from the experience. So, while it's convenient for a quick stop or a walk, the smell makes it difficult to recommend for a full day of relaxing or picnicking. Lovely beach. Public which is great. The water is shallow for at least a few meters when is out out so ideal for younger kids. My loved it as they could play more freely in the water and ride small waves in on their body boards while the depth was only up to my knees. As comes in a pool forms which is shallow for younger to play in although definitely a current in it. is also lifeguarded although I would guess that is only during summer months. I would advise to check when the is out for visiting especially if you have younger kids. Would highly recommend. After the there is Pub with fish and chips a 5-10 min away or 1 min drive and also a sauna coffee close to toilets. So handy to stop and get a coffee or some food as you leave. Both pub with fish and chips and coffee seemed to have lots of people going in. . I was here first weekend after went back to school and was a decent amount of people on the but was able to get no problem. But I would guess during summer time you would need to be there early to get good parking. Would definitely recommend and I will be back to this with my kids.
