The golf course is well maintained. The restaurant is well organised and the food is very enjoyable also, especially when it's washed down with a lovely pint of Guinness. We had our wedding here and it was the most amazing day weather was lovely,the venue was amazing the staff went above and beyond especially Ann and Liam the food was top class would highly recommend this venue for small weddings it was perfect thank you so much for making our day so special .....best day ever❤️ Bar manager Liam is such hard working friendly guy. Just love this golf course - mixture of parkland / links in beautiful setting Clubhouse food delicious and great value Hire cluns were pathetic 35 euro for5 non.matching irons a 40yo putter and driver and a callaway 3 wood which was the only good club in the set.course wasnt all that great either. .similar course in australia would be 20 euro equivalent with club hire free Clubhouse is good for drinks and that's about it. They close the kitchen at 7pm. They never seem to be ready for service, I've been 3 or 4 times and each time the food and service was a complete letdown, each time there was something missing from the meal, whether it be no chips, or the entire meal being unavailable, only after you've ordered. Not worth it for food Food was really not great, the chips are greasy and the chowder is possibly the worst I’ve had, says on the menu there’s prawns in it, there was none to be seen. It was also watery and tasteless. The kids burger was so dry and cheap I don’t know how they expect anyone to eat it.
