Amazing hospitality from the staff, the food was delicious. Let us stay over for the night in our camper van in their large car park. Will certainly visit again when we are in the area. My family & I have been going to Meyler's for many years and have always found the staff to be friendly and the atmosphere welcoming. The pub & restaurant have always been popular with the locals but down through the years with word of mouth it has gotten more & more popular with visitors to the area. This evening we decided to treat ourselves to a dinner from Meyler's but knew because of the good weather dining in would probably be difficult so we opted to "dial a dinner" for collection. We ordered spicy chicken wings, Asian style chicken curry with chips, honey & chilli crispy chicken, honey & lemon crispy chicken with boiled rice & thai prawn crackers. When we arrived to collect our order we were surprised to see how busy the restaurant actually was. The car parks were completey full and all of the tables were full with more people waiting in the bar. As usual Teresa was the constant professional directing her team & keeping all of the customers happy. It was great to see the place doing so well after having a tough time during the lockdown. Our food was delicious & still warm when we got home. We'll definitely be visiting & perhaps ordering again. Everything is good here. Nice homemade food and very good service. Nice atmosphere and decor in the restaurant/dining room. Nice bar/ lounge in the front. Chinese and Asian cuisine available also. Good value drink and desserts. Plenty of parking. Here Friday evening. Quite at the time. Had a lovely meal with mussels to start and the specials for main. Sea bass was extremely nice oven baked to order. Very friendly staff ,excellent food. Food only Froday, Saturday & Sunday but worth it and a free windmill to walk round, just ask for the key at the bar. Attended a family party and it was perfect. Lovely location and plenty of parking. Food was topnotch 100%. Everybody catered for. The staff were so helpful and obliging. Would highly recommend Meylers and we will definately be back!
