Lovely place. They were able to prepare a brunch with gluten-free bread for me. Excellent food and atmosphere in this small cafe, couldn't recommend more! Particular highlights were the lemon and blueberry pancakes with cream and almonds, absolutely stunning combo! The eggs Benedict was great, perfectly runny eggs and allowed us to swap the bacon for avocado. Garlic cheesey chips were an okay side dish. Flat white and hot chocolate were good and you can request oat or almond milk. They also have a great sweet treats selection at the counter, we walked away with a 'Bueno Brownie' which did not disappoint! All of it is baked by the owner Alice since 2008 who was front of house and very welcoming. Overall would happily come again for it all! We called in advance to secure a table for 7 and when we arrived the staff could not have been more helpful, pulling tables together and helping with the menu/ordering. We ordered coffees, pancakes, a breakfast bap and hash brunch. Everything was top notch, and the coffee was excellent too. What an exceptional place. And wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended. If someone is fond of the McCabes beans, that’s the place for them. I absolutely don’t like this producer, hence this wouldn’t be my favourite coffee shop. The girls at the till are so nice, though, hence the atmosphere of the place is really good 🤩 I also really like the sausage rolls in the Cafe, but I haven’t tried any other food. We came here as a 3 to have a late brunch. We were visiting Ireland and I have to say everyone has been so friendly, especially the staff here. The food was delicious - we had the bacon, pancake & granola and tomatoe soup with bread. I had the best chai latte here too! Would highly recommend this place! A sensational and friendly cafe in a quaint country town with a fabulous menu and brilliant coffee. We had the almond croissant and the blueberry pancakes and they were amazing . All the food is fresh and tastes great! I had the Avocado Toast with Poached Eggs - delicious. Also recommend the Dark Chocolate Brownies. My husband had the Soup with Soda Bread - also delicious. Pancakes and a Breakfast Burrito were both good as well. Friendly staff. I was visiting from the US for a wedding and heard this cafe was a must experience…it didn’t disappoint! I had the best breakfast burrito and didn’t know I loved hollandaise so much. The staff was friendly and my flat white was delicious. Will definitely be back! We just had take away pizza and pasta dish it was so good. The pizza base was so fresh loads of topping. Pasta was delicious so good. Definitely will be back. This cafe was such a find on a journey back to Dublin. They couldn’t have been more accommodating for a group of 7 of us. Mandy in particular was a brilliant host and made us feel very welcome.
