Great place to take the dogs for a stroll. Plenty of well maintained walk ways, well signposted and information stops as well. Cafe has dog ice-cream and a great deluxe hot chocolate. Very good place if you like water sports. Can be a little noisy and busy. Plenty of car parking and the staff in the visitors centre are very friendly. A bit limited if you are not into water sports, but there does seem to be some good walking parts. Fantastic Afternoon spent with the kids feeding the Swans and Ducks had a nice toasty so did the kids great coffee and a good selection of sandwiches hot rolls and drinks worth going and even just sitting beside the water Beautiful place to walk round. Dog friendly too. Didn't get to walk around the full distance but will happily come back and do it again. Nice wee cafe. Good coffee and cakes But they need to know their audience. A lot of cold and hungry cyclists. They should have home made soup not the cuppa soups. Then it would be perfect. There's a woodland trail with various routes, a decent view of Kenmure Hill and the Tower when you walk along the cycle path as if you are walking towards Johnstone and it's also a good walk around Castle Semple Loch.. Brilliant cafe with great selection of sandwiches and cakes (including gluten free options). Big thank you to the staff - we showed up 1 minute before closing looking for coffees and cakes and they were so accommodating, even giving the dog biscuits Amazing and brilliant view whilst going for a morning stroll. Clean air and also well preserved nature. Bike trails available as well as bikes for hire ranging from a variety of different prices and choices. Would go again if I had the time. Perfect for hikers.
