A first time visit, which was a delightful experience. The main road view totally hides the wonderful environment inside. Car park was quite full. Meals were appropriate for the pricing available. Very enjoyable. were very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately you do need private transport to get there, no public transport for a number of years now. Will visit again. The Food is amazing, very well presented, and the spices jump around your tounge hours later, a sign of a properly prepared curry. This not so hidden gem is a must visit if you are travelling between Irvine and Barrhead. My next visit will be in weeks, not a lifetime. Thank you to the brilliant waiting staff, and expert chefs. So disappointed. apologised and said it was a different chef. We have no plans to return to the Tornyard. We’ve eaten here twice in the last couple of months with groups of friends and family. Both times the service has been excellent and the food delicious. There hasn’t been a meal that we didn’t enjoy. The were very helpful with suggestions about what each person might like from the menu. Everything is beautifully presented and the are very attentive. One of our party dropped a knife on the floor and had barely picked it up when a waiter came over with replacement cutlery. We found it good value for money too. We will definitely be back again. Another outstanding meal , Chicken Korma , best service for miles around Single handedly the best tandoori chicken i have ever had. Great tarka dhal. Amazing lamb korma as well. Meal for 3 big eaters including a bottle of wine and several pints £85. And we ordered a lot. Fantastic food, and really nice staff. If your in the area don't miss it. Have been in previously and it was good in person, tried to order online to deliver into Kilmarnock. Happy to accept the order, called us after an hour and a half of waiting where they had returned to the restaurant and they said that they couldn't find the address (middle of kilmarnock), instead of calling while they were struggling? Very poor experience. Ordered for delivery, took 1.5 hours for them to phone and say they couldn't find the address after 45 minutes so they went back to the restaurant instead of phoning us for help. They were not willing to try and deliver the food or offer any support. Highly disappointing.
