I went here because its being used as the covid test site, parking is bad, only one space left when I arrived. Test site was quiet and well run. As a I can't really comment, there seemed to be and parents on a field by the car park. Nothing special could possibly be better without the teenagers swearing smoking and drinking riding motorbikes Grass needed cutting and quite a lot of rubbish lying around, otherwise a good place to take the kids. Great little play ground for Good size playing field. You have a small car next to the shop. And a big carpark near the housing estate. A playground is onsite. And a skate board ramp. The field does get busy with dog walking. Great little for walking the dog around. Tree lined path round the outside gives good shade on hot days, plenty on bins too! New area that seems popular & spacious parking. Good for a dog walk bit messy Play was covered in acrylic paint, Ashington standard. The itself appeared clean Lovely new and fresh play areas for different age groups. Plenty of seats for parents/grandparents/carers. Lots to challenge and entertain the children. Plenty parking available. Very nice morning out with my grandaughter. 😊👍 Brilliant the loved it, they stayed for a good while. I like the gym bit too with the pictures showing you different exercises to do with the bars. Lovely park, shame there are no toilets available especially for the children, instead of havingtogo behind the trees. Why can't the council open the original toilets back up has been there all my life. Now been rejuvenated with a brand new play which the love. Also has a small skate and tyre swing. Small play area very small shabby skate park, 3 football pitches, open to busy roads both ends, used regularly by Motor bikes, cars and horse and traps. Lots of dog poo. No proper lighting very dark in the evening. No drainage so very wet and muddy. No policing, no facilities. Not nice not safe.
