This is our local beach, we come here quite often. Small pay and display car park, but to be honest if your only going to be a couple of hours just park at asda (3hours max). Couple of places to eat, drink or grab an ice cream. Great views over towards the little orme. Nice but small shops there need a face lift. A quirky little front with coffee shack and ice cream cut. is mainly stone but some sandy areas. Car park. Quieter place than some of the other parts of the northern coast. When the tide is in, it’s a pebble beach, but still comfortable to lie on as they are nice large round pebbles. The nearby prom is good for distance walks and there’s sand dunes for the dog walking side too! If this was helpful, give it a like so it can help others 😉 Have a nice day! Really nice little walk. Great views and beautiful when the sun is shining and even setting! Great way to get from Lyons winkups caravan site to Asda avoiding all of the traffic so it's a more relaxing walk. Lovely big but unfortunately alot of the thicker muddy areas like you get in a harbour when the tide is out. We had our dog on the he was chasing a seagull when he suddenly got stopped in his tracks and fell into a deep area that looked like a bit of water but it was an area of this muddy stuff. We thought we would have to go I and retrieve him but he was able to get out himself 🙄 We had to try to clean him off in some sea water till we got back to the car to towel him off properly. Had some lovely food along the promenade. The car park was reasonably price and close to an asda. Although nice I would not go again as the need to be better for me and my pooch 😀 it took 3 shampoo washes to get him clean 😥 I love it here. You might not but it's a very personal matter. Particularly great last week when it was rainbow central. Nice, fairly quiet section of Welsh beach. Easily accessible with reasonable parking as well as coffee and ice-cream stop for visitors. It's not as frequented as beaches further along so can make for a nice section to visit for a more peaceful time. itself is fairly clean but could do with a clean up crew visit once in a while but definitely better than some visited Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
