Great to go visit, just on the outskirts of Abergele. It's in the process of being renovated, so some parts are finished, some parts are a bit derelict 🤣 The grounds are lovely, with lots of Benches to sit in 👍 I'm a Celebrity was filmed there during COVID, so if you are a fan of the show, you can see it in real life. There is a small Cafe and Gift Shop which is nice 👍 The Entrance Fee is pretty reasonable, although they also ask you to pay to park?? Gwrych is a stunning historic site in North Wales, full of charm and mystery. Its impressive Gothic architecture, scenic surroundings, and rich history make it a perfect spot for history lovers and photographers alike. A must for an unforgettable adventure! Beautiful that never served as but as a house for a very rich man and his familly. Unfortunately the caught fire and it is still under renovation, with very small steps..apparently there is not enough money for heritage and culture in the UK. This was the I am a celebrity castle. The has a 25 year restoration plan, the work they have done so far is great and cant wait to go back and see the progress next time we are near. Thought they would make more of a thing around the I am a celebrity there are some small parts which are represented but could do much more. Reasonably priced We visited Gwrych with one of our group being a big I'm a Celebrity...get me out of here! fan which was filmed here during 2020 and 2021 due to Covid. There were lots of sections detailing where it was recorded and the self guided tour highlights these. The was bigger even than it appears from outside with lots of interesting history and features. There is a cafe at the end and in here you will find items for sale and the opportunity to take your own I'm a celebrity...get me out of here thrown picture. The walls are fairly low which means even children can easily see the views over them. We all enjoyed looking around it and reading about it's history. Car parking is in front of the and I expected it to be much busier than it was as we were visiting at the weekend. Well worth a even if you're not a I'm a celebrity fan! The is beautiful and definitely worth a – it has a lot of charm and history. I enjoyed exploring the grounds and the architecture, but I was hoping to see more inside. Unfortunately, you can’t go up into the top towers, which would have made the experience even better. Still, it’s a lovely spot with plenty to admire. This is the most beautiful I've ever seen!!😍 If you have the opportunity to I say do it ! It is well looked after and is bigger than it looks on the photos! I loved it all, there are many rooms to see and the garden is just wonderful. Apart from that, there is beautiful view of the sea, and even though we visited on a very windy day it wasn't really windy up there 🙂 There's a parking space right below the and you get a free coffee when you pay for parking, there's a little cafe in the so you get it right there and there's also space to sit outside the cafe and watch the beautiful view 😍 I will this again I'm sure as its definitely worth it 😊 A really gorgeous on some well maintained grounds. IM A CELEB was filmed here during lockdown and there's plenty of photo opportunity's with some of the original set. Its a very big with plenty of nice views and a good amount to read. A great day out if you have a few hours to kill.
