The beer was nice, staff were nice, fish chowder starter with fancy bread and then a bang bang korean chicken thing .. both with clogiau aur. Problem .. the main came out before the starter was finished. Visited for dinner twice during our week's holiday. Really welcome and atmosphere. Nice selection of meals and really tasty too. Bit more expensive than other pubs, but worth it. Tess was helpful and particularly on our second visit, both Tess and chef were very accommodating. Highly recommend. Thank you. Second visit for Sunday lunch. There's something very cozy and welcoming about the building and it was nice to be sat outside to enjoy it. Food is great, reasonably priced and service is personable and friendly. Just has a meal here at this multi award winning 5 star pub and hotel. I had the bacon cheese burger and my wife had the Sunday roast. Attentive staff and very friendly. Beautiful pub taking advantage if its age with a modern twist on the decoration. Great portion sizes and locally sourced **Best battered onion rings I've ever had** crispy and not greasy or having the taste some have due to the oil. Homemade coleslaw was delicious. The roast was pink beef, great Yorkshires and a meaty gravy. Desserts we're also lovely. I had the rhubarb blonde. and tart. My wife had the bakewell tart. Se said its one of the best she's had. Sunday lunch was great. So good we went both weeks we were in the area. Freshly cooked (so not fast) and the service was exceptional. We had roast beef and porcetta which were both excellent. The cask ale was good too. Oh wow only just found out about this hidden gem absolutely amazing roast dinner fresh and tasty, staff very friendly and polite and a atmosphere in a country pub would highly highly recommend will definitely be back for a few more meals before we go home Had a visit. We've never been here before but would definitely go again. Service is second to none and nothing was too much trouble! Had a Sunday Roast out at the Kinmel Arms whilst visiting North Wales for a rainy dog walk on the beach. Staff very friendly and attentive, atmosphere, and piping hot food👌🏻 Only tiny critique would be no mash 😂 Recommended to book! Many thanks to you all, would return!
