Lovely place! First visit and it wasn’t a disappointment in the slightest. We had a warm welcome and were seated by the window looking out over the valley and hills. Service was quick enough for sure and very friendly, chatty, even recommended places nearby. The bread board is easily enough for two, as was the 10oz gammon steak (the pic was after we split it). Honestly, sharing those two dishes, that was a very decent meal. It was all delicious, every part of it. Lovely coffee. Lovely atmosphere (though not sure about the music; it was a bit ‘wedding-afterparty style’) but I’m not knocking stars off for that as everything else was superb 🙂 If this has helped, give it a ‘like’ so that others see it 😉 Superb Pub, stunning views from terrace. Great atmosphere and lovely staff. We only tried tandoori chips and salt and pepper chip both absolutely delicious!!! Having been let down elsewhere we secured a last minute booking at the Blue Lion on 23/09/25. From start to finish the waiters were brilliant, they were polite, friendly and quick which made our evening great. Food was fabulous - well done chef ! and the young lady was brill in recommending food. Thanks for a great night and we will be back again soon. Whilst on holiday in Prestatyn we found this wonderful gem of a pub. Dogs welcome. Beautiful views, beer garden and the food was so good we went back again. The Sunday roast was the best tasting dinner I've had and their mixed grill was huge everything cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend a visit. Had Sunday dinner here today. Absolutely amazing. Will definitely be back ! Would highly recommend it to anybody. Beautiful pub witb Beautiful food and drink. Not the cheapest out there but I suppose you pay for what you get. See you soon. 👌 Four of us came today on a motorbike ride, we hadn't booked and it was very, very busy. Fortunately, the weather was nice enough to sit out on the terrace with its distant mountain views, happy days. We all had roast beef dinner and added portions of Mash and cauliflower cheese to share, the portions are huge with yorkshire puddings like pillows and everything on the plate was amazing. I can honestly say that it was the best Sunday roast that I've ever had and the creamed greens were genius chef! Polite, efficient staff too - we will definitely be back. A hidden gem! The atmosphere, service, and food were all exemplary. We had the nachos, cheesy garlic bread and steak burgers, all of which were fantastic! Would absolutely recommend!
