Then had a lovely breakfast. I recommend the breakfast roll with chilly jam cheese and pickles A fun course with some challenge, the drainage on some holes is a real issue. Fairways were a spongy wet carpet at times and the length of the cut because of this meant some of the fairways grass were generous! I imagine in the dry and more in the summer. This could be a top course. Hence why only 4 stars and not more. Looking forward to coming back in later in the year to see how it plays when not so soggy!! An all round shocking experience had by our 20 group may bank holiday weekend. Just try getting intouch with the course it took us two weeks to actually get someone to answer the phone. No pro shop and certainly no good customer service. The course was very un kept with daisy's growing all over the fairways. Greens were not good at all and at 40 pounds for a buggy to pensioners is outrageous. We have revisited for a number of years but we certainly won't be going back again. very cold and unhelpful a complete waste of a day... This was a shocking experience. A golf club that doesn't no how to pick up a phone when I'm trying confirm cart hire which was requested at time off booking. And when you arrive the are not so friendly and are like yer reception never Answers the phone needs some major improvements at customer service. On the up side the course it self wasn't that bad a few areas could do with a trimming down but nothing major £40 for a buggy is an absolute rip off, greens supposedly had maintenance but dont look like it. Overall a terrible experience and the course has clearly been neglected over the years and is now probably beyond saving without heavy investment Went for a light lunch with some friends, food and drinks really nice and the friendly and helpful - the setting was outstanding - will definitely revisit Our first visit to this particular course, we were made to feel very welcome when we checked in at the bar, she also explained the course layout and challenges well. Enjoyed our round, very windy, greens are coming back nicely from some recent maintenance. Will definitely be back. I’ve been a member for many years, and over the past decade, I’ve seen a steady decline in standards. What was once a vibrant, welcoming clubhouse is now often empty, lacking the atmosphere it used to have. The dress code on the course is inconsistently enforced and seems to vary depending on which member is on duty. On two recent visits, I saw players wearing jeans—on one occasion even paired with sandals. Meanwhile, a female member was playing in walking boots. It gives the impression of double standards, as another member appears to uphold the rules consistently. There’s also a tendency to shift blame, with the same female member regularly criticising the greenkeepers for the course’s poor condition, rather than taking accountability. The club would benefit from a serious review of its management. With the right leadership and attention to detail, there’s no reason it couldn’t return to the high standards and popularity it once enjoyed Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
