ILLEGAL EAGLES ***** What a night. First time we have seen this band and so impressed! ***** It was raining on the night so we had a brolly. On entry to the Spa, because of security we had to "dump it" onto a pile of brollies in the melee to get into the venue! Fortunately because the venue is not too big brolly retrieval wasn't too bad! Good job it was fairly distinctive? Visited to see Jimmy Carr show. Very pleasantly surprised at the theatre size and comfort. I had a bad back which tbh had made me think twice as may theatres have cramped seating BUT seats we very comfortable and as a tall guy I appreciated the leg room in the stalls. We didn’t go for refreshments so can’t really comment on the lounge but there were longish queues shut that could have been due to the large crowd and the time we arrived. The staff were fab, security smooth and helpful. Comedy show was brilliant but not for the over sensitive as you would expect. Car parking at harbour plentiful. evening out. Attended the Majorette competition with my daughter. Large spacious, lift access /disabled compliance. Security was with on point guys asking for proof of entry. Bar service was in the cafe and the bars round the ballroom area. Food in the main cafe was good , with nice cakes selection and plenty of food options, plus a view. Food offerings in the inner cafe just off the ballroom floor was very poor and overpriced. had a lovely day spent here at Bridlington, plenty of people enjoying the winter sunshine, a little icy in some places but blowing all the cobwebs away and starting back to the car as the day comes to an end, beautiful xx Visited for the Paul Heaton and the Zutins concert. Venue was and staff outside helpful letting us know how long and which entrances was best to use etc. Inside was very busy once concert started and queues for bar areas was really busy, even with a few staff on. concert but worst part was when leaving and everyone was crushed together and was very slow moving to get out and up the stairs to leave. Lovely building with atmosphere, went to see Rob Lamberti there and thoroughly enjoyed our experience, reasonably priced refreshments. Just used the Spa Cafe, absolutely spot on. First off there was a minor issue with what we had ordered at the til and a lovely member of staff had to come back to our table to sort it out. She went far further and beyond to resolve the issue immediately and we was very grateful. We ended up having sandwiches which isn’t just a sandwich as the plate comes with coleslaw, crisps and a nice salad. It was lovely and very reasonably priced indeed. We had coffee too which was good also. Big stand out though was the lady that dealt with us, best customer service I’ve seen for a while and will definitely be back. Thank you 👏 Lovely welcoming cafe with beautiful views of the sea. Scones all different flavours, 1 would feed 2 people. Will definitely be visiting again.
