Lovely warm welcome and really attentive and pleasant service. Food was lovely but the twice fried chips were probably the best I've ever had. The rib eye steak was very thin and I didn't think they'd possibly have been able to cook it rare but they did! Very impressed. Lovely little village pub that's well worth visiting! Lovely wee local pub, super & very accommodating. Great gluten free options too. Make sure to book if you fancy a Sunday lunch (which is absolutely delicious) a wee shout out to the waitress she was really helpful and a pleasant soul. Lovely homely pub, great staff so and helpful and locals too. Had a lovely meal and a couple of drinks, so relaxing. Got a back room for the visitors just wanting to watch the sports. Very out of the way but outstanding service, Food was amazing Chef was staff was helpful and with a smile could not do enough for us very trusting opened a tap for us soon as we got there. Private parking. Food prices was fair for the quality and believe me you will not be disappointed 🙂 we had desert but we could hardly fit it in after are mains lol. Good beer 3 real ales two guest ales and one thats of always (courage) they use a spirinkler but top the beer up if head is to big. Over all every good quality and so if we lived closer we would come on a regular will not forget the place and hope to come back in the future :) big thank you to the staff if they read this x Excellent food! Made to feel at home as soon as we walked in. Lovely warm cosy atmosphere and very dog friendly. Food was excellent and the choice of zero or low alcohol drinks was one of the best I've seen in a pub. If your in the area definitely call in. What a fantastic culinary experience! And great food too! Andy’s eat your way round the world meals are always not to be missed. However last night , the meal from Japan was worthy of any high end restaurant but at a price which was excellent value. How lucky are we to have such great food in our tiny village! Superb Andy! And the beer is very good too, Hal! Thank you! And a quick mention for the lovely waiting staff as they were informative and very sociable! We ate here tonight - 3 adults, 2 children and honestly just had the nicest time! The food is absolutely brilliant, highly recommend the sea bass and the kids meals were great too- chicken strips were a hit. The pub is lovely just for a drink too if they are not serving food.
