Popped in for an early tea after a walk along the beach, the service was really excellent from both of the staff who served us, the food was home cooked and good quality and my coeliac daughter had the choice of almost the full menu and felt very safe eating here. If it wasn't a four hour drive away we would definitely be regulars. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. I read about this online. It is a community funded pub.. Well they have made a great little pub. I had a chicken & ham pie, which was a slice from a large, made for them, pie.. It was a generous portion with a good pile of chips and a load of peas, topped of with gravy.. Would recommend if you are in the area that you visit. Booked the campsite initially for 2 nights. We felt so relaxed and had everything we needed, so we booked another night. The facilities were spotless. We ate in the dog friendly pub twice in the 3 days we were there, and both occasions the food was excellent. The staff in the pub are so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back to stay again.
