What a magical place! Our at Dunskey felt like a trip back in time, but with all the modern comforts of today - particularly the food! We will cherish our memories of the event and our for years to come. Thank you for having us! My son's was held at Dunskey and I can't say enough about that wonderful place. The estate is of course absolutely beautiful. The winning team makes everyone feel at home and there's no request that is too much to ask for. Thank you Anne and team for a memorable time!!! P.S Thank you Chef for Mama Anderson's special lemonade ❤️ As a photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of working at many incredible venues—but Dunskey Estate is something truly special. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the warmth and hospitality of the team. They are incredibly friendly, down-to-earth, and go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome. The entire day ran like a dream, thanks to their attentiveness and professionalism. The estate itself is breathtaking—dramatic cliffs, lush woodland, serene walled gardens, and a beautifully restored Edwardian mansion. It’s a photographer’s paradise, with every turn offering a new and inspiring backdrop. The ever-changing coastal light adds magic to every frame. And the food… absolutely outstanding. I was genuinely blown away by how delicious and thoughtfully prepared everything was—one of the best meals I’ve had at a wedding, hands down. Dunskey is more than just a venue—it’s an experience. If you’re planning a that’s full of heart, character, and beauty, I can’t recommend this place (and their team) enough. Jabina / Reportage Studios Beyond the magnificent manor home, setting, and stunning grounds that covered 2,00 acres filled with trails, vistas, and surprises, it was the resident owners and their staff that made our over 3 fun filled days so extraordinary! Their graciousness, availability, and non stop activities they orchestrated kept everyone engaged and enthralled. The food was as grand as the house! Everything was artistically presented and as delicious as it looked. It truly was an experience of a lifetime not only for the bride and groom but for every person there! I can’t say enough! We have just had the most three day at Dunskey, staying in the newly renovated Selkies Haven. This wasn't our first in the area or on the estate, but this was the most perfect accommodation ever!!! We holed up with supplies and barely left. The sunset from the bath tub above the house was amazing! Sitting on the sofa at the front of the house, listening to the sea and watching the seal in the bay was beyond relaxing. The weather was good to us and the sea still warm enough for a dip even at the end of September. We took the dogs with us who very much enjoyed their too and the secure garden. Staff were on hand if needed and responded very quickly to an Internet query, but other than that were not intrusive. We were shown around when we arrived by Ali, who was very helpful and obligingly lent us some binoculars to seal watch with. We wanted to longer, but alas someone else was booked in, we will certainly be back to in this tiny but perfect house. ❤️ If I could give more stars to Dunskey Estate, Ali and Anne and their staff and world-class chef, I would. I spent three nights and four days at Dunskey for the of my nephew and his beautiful and bride. The was more poignant than most because his mom had passed away three years ago and I and his other “aunt” (Mom’s best friends) walked him down the aisle. Set in the countryside (and shoreline) of Scotland, Ali and Anne welcomed us all with open arms and open hearts. They made us feel like the gorgeous castle was ours as well, fed us with some of the most food any of us have experienced (and we were all pretty sophisticated New Yorkers), wined us (lol that was an important part) and kept us busy and happy with drums and bagpipes, falconry, clay pigeon shooting, loch fishing and massages. If you are looking for a place for a wedding, anniversary, hey it’s Tuesday celebration, Dunskey Estate is your place! And if you want to include me on your guest list that would make me happy too! Why can I only give 5 stars?? Listen, I didn't think I was one of those people who would say "my was the best day of my life" but Dunskey has done that to me. Who am I without Dunskey? Who was I before Dunskey? I got married here with about 65 of our friends and family in attendance and every. single. one. of them wants to go back. We all spent 3 days at Dunskey and every moment of every day was magic. When I say "magic" what I mean is that, when you watch a magician, you know there is a trick being done. There is so much work going on behind-the-scenes, a master performing their craft, but you are just enthralled with the execution. That is what everyone at Dunskey is doing. They make everything seem so effortless, everything feel so thoughtful, even though there are a thousand pieces moving in the background. Anne, Ali, and everyone there is incredible. My wife and I never stressed about anything - from the very start of the process, to being there, to leaving. They made us, and our friends/family feel at home. Everyone felt special, everyone felt important and, most critically, everyone had fun. Also the food is legitimately incredible. Big shoutout to Chef Dave who I wish could feed me forever. One of our guests ordered every item on the menu during their last breakfast because they thought they would regret the rest of their life if they didn't try the dishes they had missed. Back to the food: there was a Pho bar after the which was amazing. The Rave Cave was (which isn't food but happened in parallel to the Pho). Our final dinner was the Fire Feast and that was...can you guess? Correct, also amazing. I don't know what to tell you besides this place and every part of it, every detail that makes Dunskey...Dunskey, is incredible. My husband and I chose this as a Honeymoon location, and it was nothing short of a fairytale!!! From the moment we stepped on to the Dunskey grounds, there was this calling, if you will, and almost a sense of familiarity in the whimsy. It was everything we thought it would be, and more! We stayed at Harriet’s Lodestar Lodge, and for us, this was the most perfect location, as it was more secluded and tucked away from the rest of the lodges. The food we reserved in advance was absolutely fantastic! And the attention to detail at the lodge? We so appreciated all of the considerations, from slippers, to robes, to books and playing cards, and umbrella - we noticed all of it. During our stay, we walked all over the soul-stirring lands, enjoyed some rowing at the loch, visited the castle ruins, dipped into a morning bath outdoors, frolicked about through the fairy-ful forests, competed with the lovely Trevor at some archery, melted into a massage, mazed about, awed over the gardens, and ended our time with some s'mores and hot chocolate at the beach over a bonfire, thanks to Jim and Stuart. The staff? Polite, delightful, and overly accommodating! The location? Heart-stopping, jaw-dropping, and truly magical - thank you for allowing us to step into such a beautiful corner of the world, and for opening up your home to us mere mortals. My husband and I will be talking about our for many more years to come. Until we meet again, Dunskey! You’ve inspired us, fueled our souls, and have gifted us with memories a’plenty.
