We were on holiday in the area . Free parking We spent the first week of September on holiday in Stranraer, Scotland, and visiting Agnew was one of the highlights of our trip! The is beautifully designed, and the creativity in the areas kept our kids entertained for hours. It’s a wonderful place for families to relax, with something for everyone to enjoy. The setting by the water adds to its charm, and everything was clean and well-maintained. Highly recommend this gem for a fun and memorable day out! A pleasant to stroll around, large areas of grass for the kids to run around on, a playground area,and a small lake full of swans and ducks, leading down to the sea front promenade which runs for quite some distance for a nice stroll. There is a nice cafe/restaurant on site, the Driftwood with an excellent range of product. Great place to walk or take the kids for a play. A couple of areas with plenty of pathed walks around a lovely pond which houses ducks and swans and the whole thing is right next to the sea. To top it of there is a great in the centre with plenty of seating. Great with affordable activities such as paddle boats,go karts and train ride with the area inc mini zip wire in the childrens area. Driftwood on site for light lunches,cakes or hot/cold drinks. Def worth a visit if you have little ones or just fancy a stroll. Lovely quiet place just to sit down and enjoy the rest Very clean large park. There is a well equipped for the children with swings etc for different age ranges. There is also a sand area over a bridge with a wooden pirate ship. You can hire boats and trikes from here and there is also a mini train you can ride which isn't very expensive. There is lots of parking nearby and a for food. Really nice and welcoming , young kids family would really enjoy the place. Park has lot to offer there is a quote bikes track and mini train track around the park. Park has zip line too where up to 12 years can have a go.
