Amazing day on the Coo safari. Really enjoyed Neales hosting of the safari and the exceeded my expectations. Was really nice to get up close to the cows in a safe and controlled manner. The Super moodle at the end made for some epic pictures. Would highly recommend a visit and the food and tea provided at the end of the was also delicious 10/10. 'Hands on' Coo was fantastic in every way, friendly host/guides with loads of info about the animals and the farm, tractor and trailer up to the hills and you can borrow a dryrobe too if the weather isn't good. The themselves were wonderful and clearly enjoyed it too, because they could quite obviously walk away if they wanted to. Enjoyable for all ages and abilities. Loads of great pics to be taken, the 'Supermoodel' coo was unbelievable, how she posed for photos. Facilities back at the farm were great and the cakes, biscuits, tea and coffee were first class (also for vegans!) Little shop was lovely too. All-round it really would be hard to top. Well deserved 5 stars A Dream Come True at Kitchen & Ewes We had the most incredible day at Kitchen & Ewes! Meeting Highland cows has been a dream of mine for such a long time and this visit made that dream come true in the most magical way. The private was fantastic, we loved getting up close to the cows, brushing them, and feeding them. They were gentle, gorgeous, and full of personality, and the whole was so much fun and beautifully organised. To make the day even more special, my partner proposed to me during our visit! It’s a moment I’ll never forget, and I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect setting! After the tour, we enjoyed the most perfect afternoon tea. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and such a relaxing way to round off the experience. The gift shop was also a delight, full of lovely items and great souvenirs to remember the day. The owners were genuinely lovely, so welcoming, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. Their warmth added so much to the and Kitchen & Ewes will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you for giving us a day we’ll treasure forever! A Delightful Highland Coo at Kitchen and Ewes! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My recent visit to Kitchen and Ewes was an absolute joy! From start to finish, the was incredibly well-organized, making it easy to relax and fully enjoy the Highland coos. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and eager to share their knowledge about these magnificent animals. Their passion for the was truly infectious! It was clear that every detail had been carefully considered to ensure a smooth and engaging experience. The themselves were, of course, the stars of the show! Getting up close to these gentle giants was a truly memorable experience. And let's not forget the delicious treats at the end! It was the perfect way to round off a wonderful experience. Kitchen and Ewes is a must-visit for anyone looking for a unique and heartwarming adventure. I highly recommend it! Went on the hands on today together with my husband. We had an absolute blast. The guides told their story and that of the farm with loads of humor. You could really see that they put their hearts and soul into the farm and the welfare of the coos. During the you get plenty of time to meet the and shower them with love. We would 100% recommend visiting! What an incredible experience! We booked last minute after waiting a week for availability, so I’d highly recommend booking in advance. We chose the hands-on and it was absolutely worth it—fun, engaging, and so informative. The Highland were not only happy but also excited to be stroked and cuddled, which made the whole even more special. I’d 100% recommend this to anyone looking for something unique and unforgettable ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What an amazing hands-on & exceptional experience! A warm greeting on arrival, hearing about the history of the farm & family was really interesting, staff (Jess & Neale) were super friendly and funny, even providing warm jackets for us to use (needed on a windy day). We were able to groom, touch and feed the highland coo's and learn more interesting facts on the such as the local wildlife. The coffee/traybakes afterwards were lovely!. Facilities were fab, including a wee shop with lots of highland cow gifts. A memorable & highly recommended. Fabulous day, thank you x Had a brilliant time on the hands on tour. Many thanks to Janet & Neale when we were running late for the friendliest of welcomes and nothing was a bother to them. Loved our time brushing wee Teddy & Ozzy and meeting Batman & Robyn. Jess & Chase clearly love their jobs and it shows in their enthusiasm and friendliness. All finished off with some delicious coffee and home baking. Fabulous place with lovely people! Would love to go back.
