Not sure if I visited on an off day but it was the worst takeaway food I have ever experienced (and I have a lot!). were like they were reheated, lukewarm and greasy. The food was greasy and not of great quality. Not sure if maybe the oil wasn’t hot enough or if they were using left-over food and reheating it. I certainly won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Well takeaway, used 3 times during our week stay locally. Some food ready cooked, but most to order, both good and not greasy. Had fish & chips, fish great size, proper chip shop chips. Pizza standard fayre & tasty. Chicken kebab to order was great. Ordered food on the phone so it was hot and ready when we arrived to pick it up Really nice takeaway. Visited a couple of times whilst staying in Lauder. Good food and friendly staff. Highly recommended! If you like your reheated and like cardboard with your side dish of your supper greasy then this is the place for you. Worst I've had in Scotland. Fish is fresh and good but were horrendous. They were very old and completely dried out and thats was during the busy spell.
