Nice pictures to look at and fantastic cakes in the cafe. Moist, light sponge exuberant with flavour devoured as we relaxed in a couple of comfy chairs. I only wish it could be moved nearer to Edinburgh so we could visit more often! Friendly staff. We only had coffee and cake but it was really tasty and fresh. Price per slice of cake was a bit dearer than the cafe down at the bottom car park opposite the swimming pool. Delicious ciabatta to take away. We had a lovely experience at this café—excellent coffee, warm and welcoming service, and a beautifully curated space with unique artwork and homeware for sale that made it feel special. The ambience was calm and inviting, and they were wonderfully accommodating to our dog, which we really appreciated. The bacon bap was delicious and hit the spot. The only slight letdown was the strawberry tart—it was tasty but quite soft, and we’d have preferred a crisper, fresher texture. That said, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be returning. I love this cafe - tasty food and friendly service with divine cakes.
