Very friendly and quaint little farm shop. Amazing selection of meats. They have prepped foods as well as eggs, bread, vegetables, etc. worth a visit. Popped in today and got some ribs, oxtail and liver. The ribs were amazing will definitely be back. They got more ribs marinated while we waited, nothing was a problem. Such a selection of meat, veg, cakes. Everything looked amazing. Staff were so helpful. We came back for more delicious food after trying it in May. Haggis, sausages and honey were all great. They even freeze wrapped the sausages for my nephew to travel home with! The steaks were expensive but they were possibly the best we’ve ever eaten! Especially the marinated steaks 😍 Delicious and unusual Scottish produce. Spoilt for choice. Really enjoyed walking in Gosford House grounds. We discovered this gem during our trip and we decided to give it a try. One of our best decisions ! The alocated parking space is between beautiful big trees . When you walk from the car park to the shop you can see the farm's chickens running around. In the shop they have a large variety of organic foods and a little coffee shop. Some of the products are theirs , some from the farmers from surroundings. This is a perfect example how people can help each other ! :) At the butcher area a very helpful and polite man ( named Craig) helped us a lot. We decided to buy wild boar for a stew ( suggested by Craig ) . Then we had some coffees with a home made Rocky Road cake.( Also delicious and huge portion). We discovered that they serve a big variety of meals for lunch at a very good value. I only can recommend this peaceful place !!! By a friends recommendation we bought a steak pie for our meal tonight,it was packed with the leanest melt in the mouth meat,and lovely flaky pastry. Will definitely be back.
