Ideal location for our excursions around the amazing Edinburgh. Nice site and caravan accommodation and usual holiday entertainment which was fairly small. Swimming pool was big and looked although we never used it. Reasonable quality food with fair enough prices. Good all round and we have visited here twice now and would use it again if we needed to. Definitely worth while staying here if you are headed to Scotland We had a lovely time at this resort, using it as a bolt hole to visit Edinburgh, which is less than 20 minutes on train. Within 30 minutes you're able to visit a number of attractions and Michelin recommend gastropubs/restaurants. Walking along the seafront with views of the Forth Bridge in the distance and seals metres away from us was lovely. It is a typical Haven resort with the standard amenities you'd expect. We stayed across 3 of the higher end vans and they were all clean, comfortable and spacious. As Haven parks go, this is one of their best all rounders, we'd say. Had an amazing week with our family. 6 of us in total. All are so friendly and accommodating! Can't do enough for you. Prices standard for a caravan park. Everything you need... Great pool with 2 kiddie friendly water slides! Lots of fun activities and great entertainer! Recommend! And no doubt will be back from sunny Dorset 😉 Fantastic change of scenery than the usual crowded venues. The is fairly small and you can walk around easily and quickly. Has its own mini market and laundrette within its grounds. Just a stones throw from the beach, swimming pool nightly entertainment and amusements to keep all of the family happy! We stayed here last week in just a basic caravan. As we were only using this as a base whilst we went out and about on our motorbike (we did catch the bus into Edinburgh on one day - the bus terminal is at the entrance which is very convenient). Booking in was so easy and carried out by the security staff, they also changed our gas bottles within a few minutes of me calling them. The was and tidy. We didn’t pay for the use of the facilities so unable to comment about them. On leaving the security chaps wished us a safe journey and were giving out free bottles of water for the journey which was a lovely touch. All in all a great place for a break and a fabulous security team. Lovely location with brilliant views. Caravan was amazing and good value and in a great area of the park., between the mini market and the Complex. Swimming pool was amazing. Good bus link into Edinburgh and overall was very and tidy. Food quite Well priced and portioned for a haven site and was very good. With exception to the Cooks fish and chips, miserable member and we had a tiny scrap of fish that could just about fill 2 small rolls. Entertainment on Tuesday night was a magician who is seen at haven parks in Yorkshire and was very surprised he was still able to Come to haven, made offensive and rude jokes and was overall very boring, left halfway through his act as he was up to his old tricks again with Inappropriate jokes. Most staff, with the exception of the lady in the funshop on Thursday evening and Liam in the shop (who were both brilliant and bubbly/chatty) seemed very much down and in the case of the restaurant and The cooks Id say some were even a bit miserable. Site could do with some investment. With the cooks being so poor we were struggling for food each night as the restaurant menu was quite poor. Perhaps a food truck or proper bakery in the shop would be a good idea. Overall after that was pretty decent We recently stayed here for 5 days and had a fab time. The are very friendly including security, our caravan was and it was away from the main area so it was quiet which we were pleased about as we had a toddler. The restaurant on site was great and very reasonably priced. The only snag was the high chairs weren’t as we had one on arrival in the caravan but we had to get it changed, and in the restaurant we were given a dirty high chair. Overall great place we would definitely return.
