Flat and to many would appear a boring field. To us it was a start of our links golf trip. Playing with persimmons and ballatas this course is a fair test, especially the last couple of holes and the tight par 5. Clubhouse is and the are super friendly. The only snag is the car park is height limited but there is a code to unlock the padlock. Bit of pain if you are in a van but understand they want to keep the riff raff out. Recently opened after redevelopment. A new bar and restaurant with an outdoor bar and music area coming soon. Breakfast from 10am Daily and a full roast dinner on Sundays. Special menu dishes daily... At last something positive for Rhyl... Make Rhyl Again. Went to the newly opened cafe and though chicken was unavailable the food we had was delicious and the very helpful polite and courteous. Also reasonably priced. Newly opened so not a huge menu but choices and something for everyone including full meals and light bites. My egg, ham (3 slices of thick cut ham 👏) chips and peas was a huge portion. Quiche and the potato salad was delicious. Jacket potato with tuna price at £6.95. Amazing modern lift up to the cafe. Have been told they do a Sunday roast dinner so will be back to try that. The were all truly amazing and made the celebrations even more special. Myself and two friends played here in early November - we were very lucky with the weather, blue skies and dry. Everyone was very welcoming and it’s a course. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back. The Sunday roast was fantastic and were lovely. A course and clubhouse. Excellent food and service Sadly a 1 star because of the course general [lady golfer] my son and 2 of his friends came to play like they have all summer. But we can only fit 2 bags in the car so they shared 2 bags. Only to be kicked off on the 3rd hole ! Very stuffy rule for kids who are out in the fresh air trying to enjoy the game. Will definitely not be returning !! Three of us came here (me, my husband and my mother-in-law) and we were really impressed. The ham, egg and chips were spot on – tasty, generous and very reasonably priced. The couldn’t have been friendlier, and the refurb has given the place a really welcoming feel. Best of all, we enjoyed our meal while looking out over the golf course and promenade – a lovely setting. We’ll definitely be back.
