Very and large sandy with great views. I came a cuple times and was always empty despite been so beatuful and close to resturants and bars. Nice to go for a walk and get some sun tan One of those places you just keep on coming back to. It's clean, a better than Rhyl in my opinion, it's not over comercial, all day parking with ample spaces, you can get food and drink, there's toilets and great views of the wind farm - I just wish they were brightly coloured lol. There is not a great deal there but it's got a bit of sand, sea and lifeguards, so what more do you need. It's the coast and a place to chillz... Spectacular on the tranquil Welsh coastline I visited today and on Tuesday at low it is flat sand and goes out for a mile and at high it comes right up to the steps brilliant views of the wind turbines and the is protected by rock groynes the promenade is peaceful and these are my photos from Tuesday and today I only had a short paddle on Tuesday due to the choppy seas and high but did love the scenery but today was my favourite as the sun was shining and the was out which made my day as walked from Presthaven to here and had a really long paddle in the sea loved the calm waves hitting me pretty much had the whole to myself while I visited here both times and I enjoy having the walk along the prom the water is really and great for swimming in very close to Pontins and a 3 mins drive to the town Second time visiting, first time was in May 2024. Very area, was in and the wind was fierce. Still nice to sit down and watch the waves. I used to live in Prestatyn but it took my moving away to appreciate what I had all along- this with enough waves to create a good time with the family. You can arrange to have a picnic by the and there’s a place to stop by for ice cream. Toilet facilities are available in the Nova centre and car parking costs are reasonable too with prices differing between peak seasons and off-peak months. The play area is good for the children to run around if there’s steam left and it also gives you the chance to buy and enjoy your ice cream/ picnic too. It is nice and and fairly quiet family friendly area . Nice to have two separate parks for children right next to it. sand is beautiful and . We drove around this area and found this but the first day we lost to the tide... So make sure you check times to get the most of your day. Luckily we came back the next day! This has toilets nearby and the parking isn't too expensive for the day. My children loved the soft sand and making sandcastles and trenches. They enjoyed paddling in the water and watching the come in until there is no left! Plenty of room on the perfect for social distancing! Beautiful spot. Sandy beach, views and planty space to walk. I have fallen in love with this place, especially that is only couple hours away from Liverpool but you got the feeling like you are in some far away place. Very romantic place for long evening walks holding hands x Lovely place I didn’t see the , but what i saw there was little hard to explain. Northern lights and millions off shooting stars. I was on cloud 9 Lovely sandy beach, great for walking along or building sandcastles. Waves were OK for boogie boarding with kids when the wind got up. Great spot for flying kites and games too. There's also a nice play park and mini-golf nearby, as well as a lovely cafe. No free public toilets though, we used the cafe toilets when buying a drink. The car parks are extremely convenient for reaching the very easily. Not too far to lug all the gear/picnic you need for a day at the beach. 🏖️🏄🌊 Didn't see the point in going to the £10 later after you have paid for parking which was £2 wasted of money then went to Costa no fresh coffee everywhere closed. Lovely peaceful with lovely and walkway Touring pitches too far away from entertainment complex.
