What a beautiful cathedral and lovely gardens with views over the river. This cathedral is a modern thinking, inspiring Cathedral that welcomes anyone of any faith or no faith. Highly recommended. Beautiful Cathedral...lots of history Very helpful guides ..no.entrance fee only donation .. Beautiful Cathedral...lots of history Very helpful guides ..no.entrance fee only donation .. Great historical place to visit. Info boards placed around the church provided interesting history. Small cathedral! Interesting history. Plenty of information available. A nice enough cafe. Good toilets. The river walk in St Asaph is lovely if you have more time. I went inside as it was heaving raining and was soo cold. Right after I was welcome with few articles and prayer square knitted by the devotees. The warmth I felt when I touched it, can't be explained in words. A beautiful and peaceful place to worship. It has lots of dating back to 12th century and beyond. The is well written in detail inside the church. And don't forget to grab a snacks at the cafe behind. A lovely serene place to visit, we called on our way home from a break in North Wales. We were made to feel very welcome by the local people inside, offered a walking tour guide and informed I could take as many photos as I like. It may not be a large Cathedral but is certainly a statement building with plenty of history. There is a tea room here and a car park, the car park is council operated so it is pay and display but is very reasonable especially if you plan on walking into St Asaph, well worth a visit if you are in the area. Beautiful little cathedral, no bigger than a small parish church. Sadly ripped apart and modernised. It has lost its soul replaced with a modern interior and plastic chairs. It had the feel of a church inspired IKEA display inside 😭 Had a very interesting tour. The volunteer guides are very informative. The entry is free donations can be given to the Cathedral by card, cash or bank transfer. A beautiful historic cathedral! Well worth a visit, and a beautiful cake and coffee can be had at the ‘The Translators tearooms’ at the rear of the Cathedral opposite the large car park. Plenty of parking spaces. Pay at the machine for your parking Loved it. Lots to see thanks to visitors tour info. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Afterwards we had a super lunch in the adjoining cafe.
