Nice little walk. Quiet park, even in the sunshine. A side trip to this and very enjoyable it was. Tennis courts, a good kids play area with a variety of equipment, a lake and kept grass to run around on. A nice to the dog or take children, plenty of room to run around and explore Nice walk, timed just right before the dogs were out in abundance Stunning plenty to do... there are 4x basketball courts which also double up as 5 a side pitches...a great skate park...lovely kids with 2x nice pools to around and see plenty of wildlife...herons ducks swans and those pesky seaguls...they look to be building a great pump track to be completed soon looks very good so far...plenty of space does not get too busy we always make a beeline here when we are staying in pensarn. Lovely place to go for a walk, nice pond area with small boardwalk too. A lovely to stroll round. Playground for both young and older children Fabulous for taking my German shepherd dog and wheeling my mother in the wheelchair something for everyone At the moment major works are being undertaken to improve the pathways and this is causing some disruption to traffic and pedestrians. A regular with my dog through this lovely with scenic views of the hills and the I'm a Celeb castle, 5 mins later onto the beach 👍 Pentre Mawr situated in the heart of Abergele is a beautiful landscape. With the Mansion once occupied in Victorian times by a Solicitor from Manchester which now houses private retiring elderly residents, the caters for all. A skate just near the entrance is joined with Tennis courts. A Football area is also nearby. Walking along the paths you come across a playground for youngsters. Also 2 large nature ponds are home to a variety of wildlife and feathered regulars like ducks, coots and Swans. One pond has a standing deck for people to observe and sit. Along the paths their are a variety of trees and shrubs and a walled garden is also viewable, rugby and cricket is also played on the fields when teams meet. Bring a picnic if weather is fine as no cafe on site. Also be aware that if heavy rain has fallen some areas of the fields do flood... Apart from this a lovely morning or afternoon can be spent here with family or friends with a wonderful view of Grwych Castle which you can also visit if u wish...
