Really cool pub and restaurant, with lovely, staff, and in a location. We ordered food, and the portions were really generous. The drinks were good too. After a windy walk to Talacre beach, we returned for some warm drinks, and the coffees were lovely, too. We loved the decor, with all of the knicknacks throughout, and it was decorated ready for Christmas, too. We parked right next to the pub, so didn't have to walk far. It was nice to see that dogs are welcome, too. This would be a venue for a party! Quirky bar & food place. Quite out of character for the rest of the area as they’re all typical seaside places whereas The Point is much cooler. Only downside is they’re on a very limited food menu before 4pm, the street food stalls weren’t open and the carpark is extortionate, and there doesn’t seem to be a reduction even for patrons! This is just the bar you want to walk into. Quirky and comfortable. Dog friendly. Very nice bar staff. We tried the dirty fries all off them 😂. Well the pulled pork was the winner. Defo come here again! You have to see the men’s toilets if your a builder like me. Had a visit to The Point Bar and Restaurant in Talacre. The staff were really and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the atmosphere was spot on, relaxed, clean, and perfect whether you’re just popping in for a drink or sitting down for a meal. The food was excellent - fresh, well-cooked, and full of flavour. Portion sizes were generous, and everything came out quickly and nicely presented. The service was attentive without being over the top, which made the whole experience even better. It’s in a spot near the beach, so it’s perfect for grabbing food or drinks after a walk along the coast. If you’re in Talacre and looking for a good meal with service and a vibe, I’d definitely recommend The Point Bar and Restaurant. Lovely dog place, really interesting decor and good food. Would definitely recommend popping in. (Plus a GF menu if that's something you need!) Only thing I would say is it has a limited menu - the photographs on here are old, so no fish and chips! Only has loaded fries, pizza and chicken/ scampi baskets (which were lovely!). They could definitely do with adding some more things on there in my opinion. We had an incredible time at The Point Bar & Restaurant! The decor is stylish creating a wonderful atmosphere that’s perfect for a relaxing meal or a night out. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the craft pizza, which was a real highlight. The portions were large and satisfying, and the prices were very reasonable. The menu offers a variety of options, and the drinks – including a selection of beers – were top-notch. Overall, a fantastic spot, and we’ll definitely be coming back! Absolutely amazing! Some comfy seating, some chairs are ex old style cinema and old airplanes seat. The bar staff are so Ben is great! And it's dog friendly. Just a stone throw away from the beach.
