Always a pleasure to visit this pub and restaurant. We had Sunday Lunch, which was great and very filling! And then settled for a friendly evening with our hosts and the regulars. The best place I have ever stayed – it truly felt like a home away from home. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine warmth and friendliness. The pub was absolutely fantastic, full of character and charm, with incredible people who made every moment unforgettable. The atmosphere was so lively and inviting that I found myself not even wanting to go back to my room – I just wanted to soak it all in. Every interaction, every laugh, and every shared story added to the magic of the place. I had an absolute blast and left with memories I’ll treasure forever. I will definitely return, not just for the comfort, but for the amazing vibe and energy that makes this place so special. Love coming here since it opened two years ago. Customers are always welcoming anyone new, food is beautiful and it's a fun environment :) This place is absolutely fab! We had my niece's sweet sixteenth birthday party here and they went absolutely above and beyond! We were allowed to set up a bit early, the amount of food prepped was incredible and they were so helpful with everything! The sheer effort put in by the staff was beyond amazing! Couldn't have been better; friendly welcome, cosy room and pub next door! Excellent food available in the evenings, and great value. Breakfast was especially good, and perfectly presented with quality ingredients; set me up for my day's work. Only problem I encountered was if my own making; I got home to Gloucester later that evening to discover I'd left my keys behind. Phoned Tracey, who immediately posted them back to me by recorded delivery. What can I say? Good, friendly old fashioned service. Will definitely be staying again when I'm sent back to the area.
