The British Bird of Prey Centre was definitely one of the highlights of our time in Wales. It’s located inside the Botanic Gardens (as of July 2025 - though we have heard they are moving out), but they don’t get any of the admission fee, so visiting here is by donation. We came here twice on our trip, and both times were met with amazing staff who were kind and informative. They know so much about the and centre and we loved chatting with them. The signage inside is really helpful in getting to understand the birds, and the information we learned from the bird show was excellent. The only downside was that we couldn’t stay long enough to see both shows. We absolutely loved our time here and when we return to Wales, as know for certain we will be back! Took my wife here for her 30th birthday. She absolutely loved it and wouldn’t stop talking about it for weeks afterwards. Boomerang was her favourite! Highly recommend this to any bird lover and wanting to learn more about birds! Holding the golden eagle was quite an experience! What an amazing experience, I can’t recommend this enough. We did the half day the were truly beautiful and we had a superb guide who taught us lots about them, thank you Simon, a day I will never forget. Had a fantastic time Friday 1st August, watched the display with Simon doing the commentary 10/10, afterwards our son's girlfriend Mandy had a bird booked and four of us tagged along, Simon was in charge the guy really knows his stuff many thanks for a fabulous afternoon, we'll be back 😀 It was a lovely to see the different flying around us and coming up close. The staff is very friendly and the talks were educational. I would recommend visiting and supporting them in takaijg care of this majestic birds. I was gifted an owl flying here at the British Bird of Prey Centre. The far exceeded my expectations. I had the opportunity to fly four owls, and watch two bird of prey shows. Emma, Alex and their team clearly loved these and their care was evident throughout. They had immense knowledge and were able to demonstrate this for each bird. Every owl had its own personality and it was brilliant to be part of their world. I can't wait come back, and I highly recommend a visit, or an to anyone. We had the most amazing visit and Owl Experience! 🦉 It was honestly one of the best days of our lives, spending time so close with these incredible birds. The team were absolutely brilliant — so friendly, welcoming, and passionate. The shows were varied, fun, and fascinating. We can’t thank you enough and can’t wait to come back! The shows are educational and the beautiful. If you have ever been to a country show this is much more impressive, the are used to people and will fly between you. There are also group experiences for flying the which are very affordable, allowing you to the connection falconers have with their Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
