Wright's Food Emporium

One of the Best Places To Visits in Llanarthney Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. The team and atmosphere are really lovely, the food is delicious and the produce in the shop is top-notch. Everything about Wright’s screams quality, care and passion about good food. It’s a real gem. Excellent choice of food products of local provision. The menu was good and the coffee Excellent. Parking can be difficult as it gets busy lunchtime. Stopped by after a visit to the Botanical Gardens and was very impressed. All the staff were really friendly (even though we were from out of town) I enjoyed hearing people speaking Welsh! The outside seating was a lovely sun trap, a bowl of water was offered for the dog, the service was quick but welcoming and the food was absolutely lush, I will be back again and next time I'll load up with some bits from the shop too! Wright’s Food Emporium is a real gem – cosy, welcoming and full of character. The food is fresh, locally sourced and delicious, with great coffee and cakes too. A lovely place to relax and enjoy good quality food in a friendly atmosphere. Nice place and pleasant staff, but the food is overpriced and substandard. Recently visited for lunch, ordered the pie which was supposed to come with salad. A small slice of pie arrived, literally 2 forkfulls, albeit tasty with 6 leafs of lettuce! I kid you not!!! Not a tomato, nor a slice of cucumber, not so much as a ring of onion..I'm sorry, but 6 leafs of Lettuce does not constitute a salad in my humble opinion. I would have complained at the time or refused to pay £15 for it, however it was somewhat of a celebration with friends and I did not want to take the shine off their good news. Very poor value for money. Rip off springs to mind, as well as 'not as advertised'...for balance, the Cheesecake was delicious...I had to have dessert as the main was less than a starter by decent standards. Everything about this little gem is absolutely perfect. My only complaint is that I would like to move it about 200 miles closer to my home in Yorkshire. The setting is beautiful, the building divine, the interiors to die for. The staff are warm, friendly, welcoming, accommodating and rightly proud of what they do. And the food ....oh the food! Tasty, simple, delicious, locally grown and beautifully prepared. I think the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. Absolutely worth a detour if you're within, say, a few hours drive! Delicious food every time. Love the ‘supper club’ Delicious! The Cubano was incredible and very generously-sized! My wife brought half of hers home with us! Very friendly service and great shop with loads of tasty bits and pieces. I came here for late lunch during a holiday at a caravan park near by and I wish I could have stayed longer to revisit here! I had the soup and my boyfriend had the pork belly cubano, mine was deliciously fresh and came with bread and cheese and his was full to the brim and ‘the best sandwich he ever had!’ The staff were lovely also and we bought some bits from the shop too - I would highly recommend if you’re in the area!! Excellent lunch. Superb food & service! Lovely place for a relaxing dining.
